Magic the Gathering

Magic the gathering is probably the biggest of all collectible card games by Wizards of the Coast. It features over 25 expansion sets and 8 versions of the base game. There are even hundreds of Magic the Gathering tournaments all over the world! The art on the cards are beautiful and my favorite by far. This is the first CCG have ever played. If you are a D&D geek, then you will probably love this game. You can summon monsters and cast spells to annihilate your oppenent.

The best part of the game is building your deck. There are millions of ways you can organize your deck to suit you. If you are not familiar with the game, there are five types of cards: forest, fire, dark, light, and water. Within these cards, you have creatures, artifacts, enchantments, instants,lands, and sorceries. You play on a turn based system with a pre-phase, draw phase, main phase, battle phase, 2nd main phase, and end phase.
